FIRST EDITION OF TEACHER LEADERSHIP JOURNAL FROM KENAN FELLOWS PROGRAM
As the summer winds down and students are preparing to go back to school, we’re excited to see that there’s no slowdown in the advancement and study of teacher leadership!
The Kenan Fellows Program for Teacher Leadership at North Carolina State University just released the first edition of the Journal of Interdisciplinary Teacher Leadership.
And the journal is now accepting submissions for its second issue (Deadline: October 31, 2016)! There are also a number of opportunities listed below to share your teacher leadership work!
Submit a proposal to the International Teacher Leadership Conference and help co-construct a common understanding of teacher leadership and advance theory and practice in the field.
Deadline extended to August 19, 2016
Submit a proposal to the New Teacher Center's 19th National Symposium on Teacher Induction, which includes teacher leadership development as one of its key focus areas.
Deadline: August 26, 2016
Encourage your teachers to submit an idea to the Teacher Preparation Leadership Summit in D.C. where educators will develop action plans to strengthen teacher preparation programs.
