HGC Network -
We want every church and every leader to experience exponential growth. God is blessing HGC by allowing us the opportunity to work toward this goal and calling us to make some bold moves. God is opening new doors for HGC and we are producing an impact for the Kingdom of God that we had only dreamed of a few years ago. It is both exciting and humbling to watch each of these doors open.
To serve our mission—Engaging Churches and Leaders to Multiply—in the most effective manner, we are shifting HGC’s operations model from “doing” to “equipping”. We will still serve churches and leaders through consultations, coaching and assessments, and we will be actively working to multiply the efforts of our staff, consultants and coaches. I recently shared with you that Tom Planck joined the HGC staff as the Healthy Church Catalyst, leading the operations of HGC. I am shifting my focus to equipping others to do the work of HGC.
In just a few weeks, we are opening our Pacific Northwest office. On September 1, Julia Jech, our new Organization Coordinator, joins our team. Julia and the PNW office will help us expand into the most under-churched region in the United States.
Finally, as you know, we are committed to helping churches or leaders who are unable to finance our services. This isn’t just a lofty goal; it’s a way of ministry for HGC. You can read about two churches we’ve been helping through our scholarship program on our Champion's Blog and in the story below. Going forward, we will increase our ability to serve leaders and churches without regard to their ability to cover all of the associated costs.
To accomplish these bold moves, we are recruiting champions to partner with us to see more churches and leaders get to a healthier place so that they can make more disciples that are making disciples.
Today, prayerfully consider joining our Expansion ’16 efforts. We are building a bridge to get HGC to the next level of effectiveness. Our goal is to raise immediate funds of $20,000 and to partner with at least 75 Champions (individuals or churches) who make a recurring monthly or quarterly donation of $50-$250 for the next 18 months. We have already had several people jump in to be a part of this kingdom-changing initiative. Would you join us in engaging more churches and leaders to multiply?
