From the inaugural, uplifting Schools SleepOut to the spectacular, memorable combined Music Concert, and from the delightful Women's Day assembly, to the thoughtfully crafted dramatic production, Bedlam; the past few school days (in between all the holidays) have been most rewarding.

The talented Rustenburg girls and staff have certainly given us reason to be proud, but it is also the many who were involved behind the scenes, helping to make it all happen, who show the true essence and meaning of what it is to be a Rustybug and part of this engaging school community.

The enthusiasm of our girls and staff, amidst the very busy academic schedule, never ceases to amaze and impress me.  My grateful thanks also goes to all our supportive parents, who tirelessly ferry their daughters to and fro, as well as cheering from the sidelines or from their seats in the audience, and provide positive, encouraging words at home when life gets frenetic and the nerves get frayed.  We really do appreciate the role that you play in all these school activities and calendar highlights.
We, especially, celebrate our young women of Rustenburg at this time, and the promise that they hold for the future of our country.  Both parents and staff can be proud of the leadership, initiative and compassion of our girls, evident in so many facets of school life.

Warm regards
Susan Schnetler - Acting Principal
