Preseason Update
So much info to get through. Here it goes!
Last season was good but this season is going to be better. We've got a bunch of things planned and we want all of you to help and get involved.
Biggest event this year is Goonerfest. It should be pretty epic. We have Gooners coming from all over the midwest and even a few from further out than that. It starts of with a meetup at Rhinegeist the night before with pizza followed by using our brand spanking new screetcar for a bar crawl in OTR. Next morning, well watch a match at Rhinehaus (working on doing something special with them), then to Oktoberfest Zinzinnati, Mecklenberg with Die Innenstadt, and finally, the FC Cincinnati match against OCB. Let us know you're going on the FB event page and buy your Bailey tickets now through this portal (PW - GOONERS). It's only $7! Let us know if you have any questions or other ideas. Invite everyone you know!
Next, the membership pack is out and available to order! It's only 21 bucks and you can order it here or save a dollar and find me at Rhinehaus. It includes the Ohio Arsenal shirt, pint glass, and membership cards with discounts. We should have extra glasses and shirts to sell as well. We'll have everything in within the next couple of weeks. If you've already filled out the membership form, you only need to do another if your size has changed.
A new idea this year is planning on having something at eat matchday. While Rhinehaus will have foodtrucks and occasionally tater tots and whatnot from Nation, we think it's a great idea to have something free every week. We're asking all our members to sign up for whatever weeks fits them to bring in something. It can be brownies, donuts, something from a crockpot, whatever! Multiple people can have the same day too, so check it out.
Last is we're looking for a couple people that want to get more involved. As we do more things, we need more engaged people to help. Specifically we're looking for a social media director, a charity director, and a photographer. Check out our charter, scroll down, and if you think any of those roles are a good fit for you, shoot us a message.
