Many Studies show that “children who are connected to nature will want to enjoy it and save it, now and in the future”. Nature also improves mental and physical well-being, and Conversation Week coming up on the 10-18th of September this year is the perfect opportunity to get yourself and the kids outside to appreciate what our beautiful world has to offer. There are many different things to do to suit any age, from an art club to working in a nursery for the Kaipatiki Project, or even learning about our local harbour; the Hauraki Gulf.
