I'm in West Hartford, CT now with my daughter enjoying the hospitality of my cousin and his wife, and meeting supporters and friends. We'll visit Covenant Chapel (FKPC) this Sunday, my old church way back when I was in college. We landed at JFK Monday night and got to meet our friends from NYPC; we also got to see places like the Guggenheim Museum (pictured above). This furlough is turning out to be a special father-daughter thing as I help her set up a bank account and buy supplies (and 16 other things) before moving into her dorm in DC. I'll fly out to LAX the day after I drop her off, on Aug 25, just in time for a special wedding that weekend. Sarah and Timothy are doing well in Thailand; I hope Timothy makes some progress in his studies before I return.
