Volunteer Opportunities
Career Education Council requires an Administrative Assistant Volunteer to assist the Event & Administrative Coordinator with preparing invoices, sorting mail, answering phones, database management, and writing letters and media releases. 

Wyndham House Youth Resource Centre requires New Way Section 23 School Program Volunteers. Duties may include one-on-one academic or social/emotional work with clients, group instruction and program planning. 

Guelph Wellington Seniors Association (GWSA) is seeking a Sentinel Team Leader/Administrator. The Sentinel is the GWSA’s newsletter and the Leader will plan and implement each monthly issue, respond to activity group printing requests, order supplies as needed and arrange for distribution. 

Canadian Cancer Society is looking for Wellington Warrior Challenge Event Day Volunteers for its annual mud run on September 24th. Volunteers are needed to help with parking, obstacles, bag check and beverage distribution. Students, groups and families from Guelph and Fergus are encouraged to apply. 

University of Guelph Off-Campus Living requires Resource Kit Packing Volunteers who will pack kits for the University’s Right Foot Forward program this August. The program takes place each fall with teams visiting students living in Guelph, delivering the packages and answering questions about living in the city.
