Last Call for the Indy Indians Game!
End the summer in style with your IAM teammates and families on Thursday, 9/01, at Victory Field as the Indianapolis Indians take on the Louisville Bats. We'll start with the IAM pre-game picnic and (hopefully) finish with a win! The picnic starts at 5:30p with the first pitch at 7:05p. Just $26.50 per person. Tickets must be reserved by NOON on Thursday, 8/18. Sign up today!

Transitioning to the Winter Schedule
IAM is transitioning back to our Winter Schedule on Tuesday, 9/06. Practices at Fishers, North Central, and Warren Central remain the same. The schedule changes that begin on Tuesday, 9/06, will include:

• IUPUI Natatorium - M-F 5:30a & 11:30a, as well as M-Th 5:30p
• Carmel High School - M/W/F 5:30a and M-F 11:30a
• Butler University - M-F 8:30a and M-Th 6:00p
• Five Seasons - Final practice is on Friday, 9/02
• Riviera Club - Final practice is on Saturday, 9/03

Carmel High School Practice Reminder
Just a reminder that ID stickers at Carmel High School must be renewed each school year. Prior to attending your first practice, your must go to the Main Office at Carmel HS (Door 2) for your ID sticker. This school-issued ID must be presented in order to access the facility during school hours. Once again, the lifeguard can laminate these stickers for us. Please plan accordingly.

Registration is Open for the 1st Annual Chris Clarke Invitational
Celebrate the life of our great friend and competitor, Chris Clarke, by competing in the 1st Annual Chris Clarke Invitational. This SCM meet will take place on Saturday, 10/01, at the IUPUI Natatorium.  Online registration for this inaugural meet is now open. For a $10 discount on entry fees, register in person at any Runners Forum location. We hope you will join us for this celebration of swimming and, by doing so, honor our friend.

Guest Coaching Opportunities in September
Want to know what it's like to stand on deck and lead practices? Want to teach your lane mates how to improve their strokes? Be a guest coach! There will be several coaching opportunities the 2nd and 3rd week of September while Dean, Mel, Brian, and Karen pursue additional education in order to make our Masters program even better! If you'd like to help us out and learn what practices are like from a different perspective, sign up now!

Congratulations IAM Triathletes!
Triathletes competed this past weekend at the USAT Age Group Nationals in Omaha, NE, and at Ironman Steelhead in Benton Harbor, MI. In Omaha, top 25 USAT Age Group finishers included Christie Petersen (25th, F 18-24) and Michael Smith (5th, M 55-59).  Also competing in Omaha were Mike Gastineau, Greg Hillman, Judy Porter, Bob Recinto, and Hannah Taschwer.  In Benton Harbor at Ironman 70.3 Steelhead, David Forsee finished 16th Overall and won his Division (M 45-49). Other top Age Group finishers included Matt Burrell (19th, M 40-44), Perry Heath (3rd, M 65-69), and Katie Wentworth (16th, W35-39). Also competing in Ironman Steelhead were Jack Fife, Matt Hamilton, and Antonio Navarro. Check out full results from both the USAT Age Group Nationals and Ironman Steelhead.
