Welcome to Made of Dreams, where once a month I share my latest news in hopes that it will inspire you to follow your own dreams! Fall is around the corner, but I'm hanging onto summer and all the exciting things I was able to do.
As always, I like to give you guys exclusive tracks for joining my journey! HERE is a video I shot the other day of one of my favorite Patty Griffin songs called Long Ride Home. I don't normally explain my song choices but I feel compelled to in this case. This song comforts me when I sing it and after saying goodbye to someone this week I played it to help soothe my soul. It's not my most put together self and at the end I'm holding back tears.. I re-recorded the video a time or two after this take to try and get a "prettier" take but ultimately the emotion won. That's the fuel that feeds my music, so it only made sense to share this more real and raw version with you and I hope you enjoy it.
I have been nonstop performing in Nashville which has been such a great experience to play for new audiences and at new spots. The highlight of my summer was performing at the 2016 She Rocks Summer NAMM Showcase! Watch my acoustic version of 'Days Like This by clicking on the picture below!
