We are contacting you on behalf of Peace Partners in the UK as one of our charity’s aims is to promote activities that are being planned by individuals and groups to celebrate the International Day of Peace on 21st September 2016. We can do this through circulating news of your planned event(s) through the Peace Partners website, our Facebook page and other social media.
If you would like to have your activity promoted in advance through Peace Partners’ website, social media sites and our e-bulletin please get back to us by return so that we can share details of your planned activity with a wider audience.
We would also be happy to share the results of any activities that you have planned for 21st September after they have taken place, so again, feel free to send us a blog, photos and/or written details that reflect how your event turned out.
Even if you do not have any activities of your own planned as yet, you could actively support Peace Day by doing one simple thing. Why not encourage your friends, colleagues and business organisations that you know to take a look at the annual Peacecast broadcast which will be available worldwide for 48 hours on 21st September around the world.
They can then share a link to the Peacecast broadcast to their circles and staff and spread a very positive message about the need for peace in this world and how this could be achieved. We include a link to the Peacecast website which will give you more information about the planned broadcast http://www.peacecast.tv/ and give you an idea about the high quality of what will be broadcast on and around International Peace Day.
