Help Support Orienteering's Next 50 Years
This end of this year marks the 50th year of amateur orienteering in the USA. It was in 1967 that the first orienteering clubs, Delaware Valley Orienteering Association and Quantico Orienteering Club were formed. Since 1967 USOF and now Orienteering USA clubs and supporting members have hosted tens of thousands of events and placed millions of controls.
Between now October 1, OUSA’s goal is to raise $50,000 to seed the growth of orienteering for the next 50 years, investing in club infrastructure and sport promotion, through programs that can be used to grow our clubs and our sport today.
To date we are about halfway to our $50,000 goal through donations by our OUSA board of directors, OUSA staff, donors and the Quantico Orienteering Club. We need your help to get us home.
Please make a gift by October 1, 2016 to support this goal. Make your check or online payment payable to the United States Orienteering Federation and designate the gift as “50 Years.†You can go online to http://www.orienteeringusa.org/support, or mail your donation to Orienteering USA, PO Box 1444, Forest Park, GA, 30298
