Falling into Fall (and Grace)!
Autumn is here, well almost. September 22nd is the Autumnal Equinox, the official start of fall. That is also when Mercury, which is retrograde right now, goes direct. Woo hoo!!
Despite the cooler autumn temperatures which are bound to set in and potential travel/communication hiccups from Mercury, I’m not going to slow down this month. My schedule, both personally and professionally, is busy, busy, busy. My family will be spending a weekend in Lake George. I have Table Tipping events scheduled, not once or twice, but THREE times. And, I am performing a wedding for a childhood friend who grew up across the street from me. What an honor!!
Additionally, the Intuition Retreat hosted by WillowLight and myself on September 23 to 25th in Ellicottville is full. This is going to be an enlightening weekend filled with beautiful fall foliage, delicious food, good company, relaxation and insight. I don’t think I have looked forward to something as much as I am looking forward to this retreat in a long time. Of course, if you’ve ever been to one of my classes you know that every class is my favorite.
Bummed you are missing out? Don’t fret! Another retreat will be scheduled in the Spring of 2017. Don’t want to wait that long? Interested in the Tarot? This winter I’ll be taking my signature intensive Tarot class on the road. We will be bunkering down at a quaint retreat home, and for forty-eight hours you will live, eat, sleep and breathe the Tarot. What better way to learn? Details coming soon!!
In other news, September 9th will be my last Friday at New World Gifts. It has been a wonderful ride. I was a house reader when Martha was the owner and continued on when Jill became the new owner last year. It has been amazing to see both women evolve and consequently, the store evolving with them. I have immense gratitude for both of them for welcoming me into their shop and journey. However, due to personal reasons, I’ve decided to offer readings most Fridays from my home office. It’s a mere two miles down the road from New World Gifts near the corner of Main and Harlem.

Book of the Month
The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho
Paulo Coelho is one of my favorite authors. He is a prolific author, penning more than two dozen novellas. Personally, I have read a number of his books. Of the ones I have read, Brida is my favorite. The Alchemist is a very close second.
Through this parable, Coelho presents the concept of intuition which he calls a Personal Legend. It is the premise of this book that each individual innately knows his purpose. That individual feels it; dreams of it; and, if wise, pursues it. In pursuing it, an individual will come upon that dream. As quoted from the book, "When a person really desires something, all the universe conspires to help that person to realize his dream." That dream or desire, however, is likely to appear in unexpected ways.
If you haven’t read this book, I encourage you to join the millions of others who have. It's a great read.

The Dancing Table
Ever heard of table tipping? Many people have not. It is a form of séance that was popular in the late 19th and early 20th century. Due to hoaxes and fear surrounding this form of mediumship, it has become less prevalent.
It is, however, an unbelievable occurrence that baffles people’s minds. It never ceases to amaze, that’s for sure! In this type of mediumship, Spirit demonstrates its presence through the movement of the table – yes the table REALLY does rise on its own. What’s more amazing, the table has intelligent movement. It can answer your questions. It really is something you have to see to believe.
