I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us. Romans 8:18
MISSION STATEMENT
Heritage School provides a distinctive classical Christ-centered education that prepares students for servant leadership and lives that glorify God.

Welcome back to Heritage!

I trust that everyone is settling back into the rhythm and routine of the new school year.  As a parent and a staff member, I am thankful we had this short week to ease back into the school year cadence: juggling car-pools, bed-times, homework, and uniforms.   The faculty and staff worked diligently this summer getting our campus and classrooms ready, settling into MPAC, and growing as professionals.

We had the opportunity to send several of our teachers to professional development opportunities including the Society of Classical Learning Conference in Dallas where we were informed, inspired, and equipped. We learned best practices, established collegial relationships with sister schools, and celebrated the many blessing we have as a small school at 23 years young.

Additionally, our faculty had some summer reading, which we discussed during in-service and will continue to discuss throughout the academic year. These books inspired our emphasis as a faculty for this school year – the safety and shepherding our students in our care.

I mentioned these books at Back-to-School night and would highly recommend them to our Heritage families:  For the Children’s Sake by Susan Shaeffer Macaulay; Age of Opportunity by Paul David Tripp and Wisdom and Eloquence by Charles Evans and Robert Littlejohn.

We look forward to another amazing academic year and are reminded that Heritage is simply about shepherding children into strong men and women who will love to learn, learn to lead, lead to serve.

Grace and peace,

Chris
