It's in OUR hands now.
I hadn't thought much about what I'd do if Bernie Sanders actually lost. (We all know he didn't lose, really.) But unfortunately, I was faced with that fact while protesting the DNC in Philly. Let me be blunt: With all the bullshit that went on down there, and with the level greed turning the Democratic Party into a cesspool of corruption, it didn't take me long to make my decision. No way in hell I'm holding my nose for one more election cycle and voting for Hillary Clinton.
The time is ripe for third parties. I'm totally #JillNotHill. Now, I'm sure some of you are saying she doesn't have a chance in hell this cycle. Well, I have only one answer: This revolution wasn't ever about just this election cycle. That's not how revolutions work. Ask the French. Theirs took ten years. You should also ask them about how it got done. Here's a hint: It came from outside establishment politics.
Sometimes historical events help change along. This election cycle has cracked the door open in front of Jill Stein, and she'd be remiss if she didn't kick it open and take her place on the political landscape. We're far behind the times. Other nations have as many as 16 political parties. They're doing just fine. In fact, Democracy is stronger the more choice you have. We no longer have a Democracy here. When elections can be stolen like the Democratic primary was with absolutely no repercussions, we've lost our nation. On the Democratic side, we are installing a candidate who has, without a doubt, broken the law several times over now with this email server issue, her mishandling of government secrets, and money-laundering through what is supposedly a philanthropic organization (The Clinton Foundation). The fact that she hasn't yet been charged, and the fact that she is still being allowed to actually run for the highest office in the land, just shows how deeply ingrained corruption is in the hallowed halls of our government.
Donald Trump is not the problem
I will not succumb to hysteria and vote for Hillary Clinton out of fear of Donald Trump. I agree with Jill Stein. Many of the things Donald Trump says, Hillary Clinton has done. All you really need to do is sit down at a computer and look up her record. Look up her history. Become familiar with her positions. It isn't pretty. Can you imagine a candidate who is about to become the president who hasn't spoken to the press (and, therefore, the American people) in over 260 days? That is mind boggling to me. Most candidates can't get enough. She commands the media and she will not speak to them. Why? Because she doesn't want to answer questions about her corruption.
