You've probably heard of our fantastic ECB T20 Area Final victory on Sunday against Norden CC, which sees the 1st XI through to the National Finals Day at Derbyshire CCC's County Ground on Tuesday 6th September, with highlights to be shown on Sky Sports. The Beavers play in the day's first semi-final at 11.15am, against local side Sandiacre Town.
We just wanted to say a huge thank you to the army of volunteers who made the day so special, and to the supporters who cheered the team on to victory.
We are considering putting on a supporters' minibus or coach to Derby on the 6th, which would leave Bramhall around 8am, and leave Derby after the evening final ends (c. 10pm). We will only look to do this if there is sufficient interest from the members, and it is likely that we will ask each passenger to pay for their travel. Please remember that the 6th September is not the only Finals Day of the month for the club, as the 3rd XI are in their T20 Final on Sunday 4th September which is being hosted at Church Lane. We will need volunteers from all teams, and other members & parents, to help make it a special day again. Please attend the event meeting this Thursday (25th) at 6pm in the clubhouse, or email Andy Reynolds if you can't attend but are still able to help on the 3rd-4th. This day is another chance for the club to celebrate, and attract 100s more spectators to the club.
