Good Evening,

On behalf of all the staff at RCFY, we hope you have had a memorable, enjoyable, relaxing Summer, creating lifelong memories. Things may seem quiet this month, but we have a lot in the works for September and October!

As you prepare for the back to school schedule, consider this great suggestion for waking up that we posted recently on our Facebook page: Music soothes the soul and can help wake you up in a good mood!

As your children begin the new school year next week, remember, Youth Action is starting again at both the Middle and High schools.

  • The first meeting at the HS will be after school on Tuesday, August 30th, from 2:15-3:15 in Room 214. This room is located right next to the library. (There's a possibility room numbers may have been updated, just remember, the room right after the library). We will be working on team building and getting to know each other. There will be snacks! If anyone needs a ride home, let me know!
  • The first meeting for the MS will be Wednesday, August 31st, from 2:45-3:45, students are asked to report to the gym where we will come and bring them to our meeting room (room 114). We will be working on team building, talk about how we can get friends to join, their goals and expectations and what we will be looking forward to in the new year. Connect with us if your child needs transportation!

LEAP Program resumes at LRES and IHGMS

LEAP is returning for the 2016-17 school year! Please note that they had to increase fees and eliminate the late bus due to the loss of the 21st Century grant. They are already in the process of preparing a new application with the hopes that this will only be a one-year issue.

Visit the LEAP info pages on the SAU33 website for more details. Please e-mail Patrick Arsenault, or call him at 603-895-3394, ext. 4308 with any questions or concerns. This is a great enrichment program, and we are so fortunate to have it in our town!

Remember the newly reduced speed limits in downtown Raymond and near the schools, down to 25 mph, and watch out for school buses!

Our next monthly community meeting is happening Thursday, September 8th, from 9 - 10:30 am.  We will once again be back in our regular meeting space at Lamprey Health Care, on RT 27.  We have a lot to catch up on, review and share. Please feel free to bring a guest or friend to learn more, too.
