Racial Equity and Justice Reform at Bioneers 2016

From Black Lives Matter to ecological resistance by Indigenous communities, conversations that illuminate the intersections of our cultural and sociological systems with the natural and spiritual world are paramount.

At this year’s conference, we are pleased to welcome some leading visionaries on these topics. Some exciting talks you won’t want to miss:

Featured Bioneer: Ericka Huggins

Ericka Huggins is one of those rare people whose profound personal transformation signals a way forward for us all. As a 14-year leader of the Black Panther Party and political prisoner, she used healing and other internal practices to transform herself into a luminous advocate for whole-person education. Transforming incarceration into restorative justice, and infusing political activism with spiritual practice, Ericka’s utterly honest, deeply dignified and real presence sheds light on how to be human. Her life experience provides essential context to the movements for black lives today – we are thrilled to welcome her to Bioneers 2016!
