Dear Friends,
We are very excited to announce our NEW WEBSITE is now ready and live for you to check out! It has been in the planning for some time and we have spent the last month or so developing it. So please take a look and we welcome any feedback you may have. It is our hope that it will make our ordering process easier for you, our valued customers. If you see room for improvement, do not hesitate to let us know.
We would also like to let everyone know that as we mentioned in our catalogue the family at Setha’s Seeds is growing. We have our first baby due mid September! As we are a small family business, we thought it important to let everyone know, so that you will be aware that for a couple of weeks sometime in September we may be a bit preoccupied! We have taken measures to ensure our continuity with order processing and email answering will be upheld. Although, there may be a little bit of patience required and we hope you all can understand this. It is with this in mind, that we suggest ordering your seeds a bit earlier perhaps to avoid this period all together. If you have any questions, please let us know.
Things to sow now:
August is the month to get all your Tomatoes, Peppers, and Eggplant seeds underway. By planting these seeds now you ensure you will have an early and long harvest of the heat loving summer crops! We are also planting our spring brassicas, like kale and broccoli, not to mention the faster growing, Tat Soi, Mizuna, Mibuna and Rocket. Wild Arugala is also great to get on its way now, being a perennial this plant will ensure leafy greens in your garden for years to come. Salad Burnet, new this year and also a perennial, can also be sown now. Don't forget all our lettuces like Specked, Tree, Odell’s, Mignonette and the reds like Lollo Rossa and Reds Salad Bowl. As for flowers, Calendulas, Cornflower, Stock, Echinacea, Lupins, Sweet Peas and much more can all be planted now.
We often follow the moon calendar in Organic NZ magazine for inspiration on sowing times.
Our New Website can be Found Here! We would like to encourage ordering through the new website, but we still of course accept orders on email from our catalogue.
Here is our 2016-17 Catalogue.
Choose the format that you can write in and email it to us at:

And a reminder that our seeds are also available from Cornucopia Organics in Hastings.
Happy gardening,
