McDougal Minute

Sometimes you don't have a lot of news and sometimes you get lazy. I think I had a little of both in August. All's pretty quiet up here and, for the most part, that's been pretty nice. I've had lots of time to dive back into crafting projects and hang with the ladies. Droopy and I even logged some time with our buddy Champ over Labor Day! The naps were epiiiic.

But now we're starting to swing into fall and Facebook is telling me everyones' kid has to get back in their school routine. So why shouldn't I? Welcome back to the Minute! Let's have some fun.

Look What I Made

These little Goldfish Mittens for toddlers have been in my project queue for ages. A nice long holiday weekend really seemed to be the perfect time to try them out! I didn't have any orange yarn lying around, but I think this salmon-y color palate works pretty well.
I've Been Watching
I watched all of BoJack Horseman this weekend. It didn't grab me the first time I tried to watch it, but the moodiness of these newer seasons really work for me right now. It gets pretty real (which you don't really expect because dude's a talking cartoon horse.) I hate to break it to you, though: you won't be able to stop singing the end credit song. It's a rough fate.

Ear Buds
Lady to Lady
One of my very favorite queens from RuPaul's Drag Race All-Stars Two stopped by Lady to Lady to talk about every damn thing. And it was a delight. I've actually never heard Katya so mellow before and it was really refreshing. She really shined after her season and I'm glad to see her on her latest media tour! Team Katya!
