Public Consultation Report Released
-An Important step forward for the Trust.
Finally the report on all that activity and public engagement that happened in the spring - Drop-in-Day down in the Village Centre, detailed survey and the Woodland Festival in Wilkies Wood - is now public. Funded by a Heritage Lottery Fund grant, this wide ranging survey of people and organisations interested in the land indicates pleasures, wishes and concerns and will guide the FHT well into the future as it sets out a vision and gives a mandate for action. On the practical level, it will help create an integrated land management document which is the next major task for the Trust.
Do have a look - we are sure you will find the information of great interest!
Arrow heads, thumb scrapers, strike a lights, flint knappings, fragments of bronze and fire cracked stones - what do you think you might find on the dunes on this guided walk?
