Have you thought about any projects on your property where you could use our Green Army Team?

Our team have been working hard planting and completing local jobs in Parkes and Forbes Shires and would love to learn more about our local area and increase their skills. Due to the amount of rain that we have had some of the areas that they have been working in have been inaccessible, so we are always keen to know about new opportunities.

Some work and training that we are keen to pursue includes: fencing; planting; manufacturing steps.

PARKES drumMUSTER in on at the Parkes Waste Depot on
Friday, 16 September between 8.30am and 12pm.
Registration is essential through Parkes Shire Council on 6861 2373. Please note that all drums must be rinsed and clean. For instructions on cleaning procedures, click here.
ADVANCE NOTICE: After the success of the Bedgerabong Compost on the Farm Workshop, ANL, AgriWest and Central West Lachlan Landcare have teamed up to bring a workshop to the Parkes area.

Mr Neil Davidson will be speaking on the Murray-Darling Basin on Thursday, 22 September at the Fr Pat Centre at the Parkes Catholic Church. This is a Sisters of Mercy initiation and they are welcoming interested people to join them on the day. The day will commence with a cuppa at 10.30am and finish around 3.30pm. A light lunch will be available.

Note From Marg Applebee - it is common these days to run an event and have a lot of people who do not RSVP and turn up, which makes catering difficult. These lovely ladies are providing catering, so if anyone wishes to attend this day please RSVP.....
