Dear NO,
It's amazing what dawns on you when you have to do the job yourself. Almost 16 months ago I was standing in a queue at the post office and thought what a total waste of time! Is this what WNA staff have to put up with every day? We can put a man on the moon, surely with technology advancing there has to be another way for a parcel to be delivered.
Most small business owners know the pain points I am referring to. Let’s face it, the logistics, the cost and the wait at the post office could almost put you off the idea of sending anything anywhere. Frustrated, I returned to the office and went in search of the alternatives to traditional postage and courier services.
That's when I came across Sendle. Back then they were a new player aiming to disrupt the parcel delivery business with a no fuss, cost efficient and carbon neutral service. Before Sendle came along, there was no comparable service offered to small businesses. I loved the fact that they were all about creating a level playing field for small businesses, so we jumped on board with them and have not looked back.
Seems we’re not the only ones. Over the last year, Sendle has clocked 100 million kilometres of parcel delivery and they have just been awarded the 2016 NSW Telstra Business Award in the New Business category. It's inspiring to see new to market businesses achieving unprecedented growth in our so called gloomy economy.
The real point or rather the lesson to be learnt here is - by stepping into the shoes of your staff you soon discover what works, what doesn't and where your business could be saving time, dollars and lots of stress.
Let me know what you discover by being the receptionist in your business for a day. I bet you find something that needs changing!
Have a great week and remember – "Difficulty, tests the strength of our resolve."
Regards,

Synopsis: Blood Father follows John Link (Mel Gibson), a grizzled ex-con on parole, working as a tattoo artist from a beat-up trailer. His life takes a sudden turn when teenage daughter Lydia (Erin Moriarty, True Detective, Jessica Jones) resurfaces two years after running away from home, chased by angry drug dealers trying to kill her. Blood Father brings grit and a healthy dose of black comedy to the daughter-in-distress genre popularised by Liam Neeson's Taken films. This time though, the street-smart daughter is no angel. As comfortable with a custom motorcycle and sawed-off shotgun as when Mad Max roamed the wasteland, Gibson gives a charismatic and self-aware performance in this suspenseful thriller.
