On 1 June The Therapeutic Goods Administration of Australia has now classified

Medicinal Hemp Cannabidiol (CBD) extracted from Industrial Hemp Sativa with No THC (psychoactive) for therapeutic use as a Schedule 4 Entry.
Medical Marijuana Hemp with THC (Delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol a psychoactive) extracted from Cannabis Hemp Sativa has been reclassified as a Schedule 8 Entry for prescription and Medical Clinical Trials. This is a change from a Schedule 9 Entry (A Prohibited Drug.)

On 1 August the Food Standards Australia New Zealand Statement P1042 concluded that “Low THC” Industrial Hemp Seed, oil, flour and protein power consumed as a dietary supplement Food could not provide a psychoactive THC effect. The parliament is yet to enact this finding so that Australia comes into line with most other countries where Hemp seed is consumed for their benefits of high levels of Omega 3, 6 and 9, protein, vitamins and minerals. Celebrating 2 Years of service to the Keperra Aged Care Centre

We have been attending once a month now for two years. We provide a feet, shoulders and neck rub for residents during a one hour diversionary therapy session. On 24 August 2016 fourteen residents and carers experienced the massage including the use of Frankincense doTERRA Essential oils.
