From a highly regarded single vineyard site in the Coal River Valley, the 2015 is fine and focussed with great fruit power and a tensile acid line; the fruit for this wine was so good the wine just about made itself! |

| Once again a blend of Pinot Gris, Riesling and Gewurztraminer, the 2016 Tupelo is looking seductive and silky this year. Wild fermented in equal volumes of stainless steel and oak, the palate has texture and weight, with a beguiling, spicy nose; I'm looking forward to checking this out at a little Vietnamese restaurant I've found in Hobart! |
