A selection of frames completed during the last few months...
Artwork
This colourful character was brought in to me for framing.
We decided on a double mount with a colourful insert to highlight the colours on the painting, and a metallic frame to finish it off.
I'm sure you'll agree that the artwork looks great in a hand-finished frame.

Souvenirs
This was an unusual but interesting request.
I was asked if I could frame some foreign money as a memento of the customer's travels abroad. It was also to be wide enough to add another row of notes after the next trip.
We decided on a simple black box frame with a spacer under the glass to stop the glass resting on the money.
I used small plastic corners so no glue has been used, meaning they can be moved or replaced in the future.
Sports top
Normally a sports top coming through the door is a football shirt, so a cycling shirt is a nice exception.

The customer chose a dark double mount combination which looks great next to the colourful shirt.
Each sports top gets stretched over a card shape and then mounted 'floating' in on the mountboard with a window around. The customer then added a plaque with details.
A chunky metallic frame has been chosen which looks sleek and modern.

Military Lapel Pins
This is half of a collection of pins that the customer wanted in two frames.
I had to decide on a suitable layout and the pins were pushed through the mountboard to hold them in place.
The box frame has a matching wooden spacer under the glass to hold the glass off the pins.
A fine collection, I'm sure you'll agree.
