Tribute to a Friend
Last night, the world lost a very special lady. Linda, a family friend and faithful UBO donor, lost her hard-fought battle with cancer and as much as we mourn her passing from this earth, we know that she is in the arms of her Savior today. She was a true example of grace, with such kindness to others and a complete confidence that God was taking care of her. She was ready to see Him and now she's in His presence! Please pray for her friends and family as they mourn; for God to reveal Himself in new and tangible ways to them.
Planning for Christmas!
Christmas is not only one of the most important holidays that we celebrate as born-again Christians, it is a unique time to consider outreach given the numerous opportunities we have to share the life-saving gospel message with those open to hearing it. Many times, this is thousands more people than we come in contact with over the prior 11 months.
Last December alone, we placed over 2,300 Bibles in the hands of those in need! This Christmas we would love to make that between 2,500 and 3,000. . .and have enough volunteers to attend some of these events so that we can make personal connections with some of the Bible recipients! Lots to be in prayer about and start planning for even now. Please consider joining us in prayer, financially, and as a volunteer. Giving in September!
 "North Texas Giving Day is an online giving event for people across the nation (and the world!) to come together to raise as much money as possible for North Texas nonprofits on one day: September 22, 2016. In seven years, North Texas Giving Day has pumped $119 million into the North Texas community. In 2015, $33 million was raised through more than 118,000 gifts benefiting 2,020 nonprofits."
We would be HONORED if you would consider giving to Urban Bible Outreach on this day. GOD Works, Not Good Works
