Artisan Electronics, Inc will devotedly celebrate twenty years of successful business in 2016. According to the company, their involvement has provided high-quality engineering services to NSWC Crane, as well as the Tech Park since 1996.

Vice President, Greg Sapp explains why Artisan’s location in the Tech Park is significant.

“We were relocated to WestGate in 2011 and since then we have grown pretty significantly, and I would say a piece of that growth has been the ability to network with other companies here at WestGate@Crane Technology Park.”

During their twenty years of business, Artisan Electronics has been directed by Founder and President, Greg Gossett with the assistance of Vice President, Greg Sapp. Starting off with only a handful of employees, Gossett has expanded the company to nearly thirty experienced engineers, former senior government members, and industry leaders. Sapp has also contributed greatly to the company by taking on many leadership roles conducting Artisan’s day-to-day business. All employees of this small business reside in 10,000 feet of office and lab space in the WestGate@Crane Technology Park (Artisan Electronics).

CRANE — Seven-year-old Kierington Wyatt strolled through the Team Crane Community Car Show Wednesday afternoon with her dad and little brother. I was there on my own with a camera and a notebook, always on the lookout for a car story.

A total of 57 cars were on display at the WestGate Academy parking lot near the entrance to the Crane Naval Support Activity base 25 miles southwest of Bloomington. The show has been held on base in the past, but it moved outside gate this year so people in the community, could attend….

WestGate@Crane College Fair Already Set to Host More than 1,000 Students, More than Ever Before

Read the full article here:

WestGate@Crane - WestGate@Crane College Fair 2016 is a month away and already has more than 1,000 regional students registered to participate this fall. If the projected numbers are true, the fourth annual college fair, held on October 4, 2016 from 9:00am to 11:00am, will be the most attended WestGate@Crane College Fair on record. Registration is still open for both students and colleges and universities to participate.

Organizer Alex Jackson has been involved since the first fair and says in four short years, these numbers are staggering.

"It is so exciting to watch this college fair grow these past four years. Every year it seems more and more students attend. The best feeling is being able to see the look on students faces when winners receive the funds to further their education."

Three scholarships amounting to $3,000 will be given away at the fair to winning students who apply.

Twenty-two colleges and universities from Indiana, Illinois, and Kentucky have registered so far to have informational booths. If a college, university, or military branch is interested in registering, it's only $50 a booth. That is $100 less expensive than last year, making this year's fair very affordable.

Please register for the fair before September 23, 2016. The scholarship application deadline is September 23, 2016, as well.
