Dear Fellow ICSB Members,
 
It’s back to school, back to work time after the much awaited summer break. Also ICSB activities have resumed at full pace, thanks to the many top notch events and activities organized by ICSB and our Global Network of Affiliates.
 
After the conclusion of another successful SEEANZ conference in Melbourne (see a recap below), Asia is on the spot; we look forward to the 4th Asian Council conference in Jakarta, Indonesia (September 13-19). This event will provide opportunities to increase ICSB impact and presence in Asia and I am happy to report that we are working on starting new Asian Affiliates and Chapters in Bangladesh and Myanmar. More to come soon.
 
Latin America will follow with the ICSB Mexico conference in Hidalgo, Mexico (October 12-14) and the ICSB Argentina conference in Tandil (September 29-20), in anticipation of the next World conference that will be hosted in Buenos Aires by our Argentinean Affiliate in June 2017.
 
Late Fall will be Europe and Middle East turn, with the RENT conference hosted by our European Affiliate ECSB in Antwerp, Belgium (November 16-18), this year at its 30th anniversary, and the Egypt Entrepreneurship Summit in Cairo, Egypt (November 16-19). Finally, mark your calendar to make sure to attend the next USASBE conference in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania (January 19-22). A special session on global entrepreneurship co-organized by ICSB and USASBE will be held at the conference. Please consider attending and submitting your work to this special session in which you will be exposed to the global reach and diversity of ICSB members research in entrepreneurship. View the call for papers at http://goo.gl/5tL6oM.
 
Finally, we look forward to the 7th annual ICSB-GW Global Entrepreneurship. The event is co-organized in collaboration with the World Bank with a focus on the role of regional and local policies, and their subsequent effects on entrepreneurship and Small and Medium size Enterprise (SME) development. Taking place in Washington DC, one of the most important and influential cities in the world, this conference held from October 13th-14th is not one to be looked over!
