Special Event: Journaling and Acting Workshop

Self-Exploration through Journaling and Acting

Special Tuesday Group
Tuesday, Sept 20th at 6:30pm

Join us on Tuesday, September 20th for a creative evening of exploring personal journey, identity, and belonging. Using theatre as a means for developing personal narrative, this workshop will explore the compelling complexity of being a person who stutters and the role the arts can play in representing that unique identity. No previous writing or acting experience necessary!
This event will take place at AIS and is free for all current and past AIS clients. No need to RSVP. We hope to see you there!

Lisa talks about "coming out" as a stutterer

Considering therapy at AIS? Lisa, one of our January 2016 intensive program participants, recently took a few minutes to talk about her transition from being more covert about her stuttering to being more open about it. Rather than trying to dodge stuttering, she now focuses on being an open and effective communicator.
