Ever wonder what is the ideal length for online content? Here's the answer, according to science.

The Romance Lives Forever blog (RLF) features authors and new books from all romance genres. Authors and other guest bloggers sign up well in advance to post how-to articles and/or info about new and old titles, The site is broadcast over Triberr with a reach of over 3.5 million readers via its social media-linked network, and is available on Kindle. The blog is LGBTQ friendly. and rated as adult content (and a warning about this may be presented prior to proceeding to the site), although the blog's content ranges from G-rated to R-rated.

Author Charmaine Pauls offers an interesting article on Goth-Pop novels that defines the genre and includes a brief history of the Gothic novel, a list of elements that characterize Gothic literature, a list of Gothic heroes' motivations, a description of the typical Gothic heroine, and The Goodreads list of the top 10 Gothic novels of all time.

The Ripped Bodice bookstore in Los Angeles is crowd-funded and only sells romance novels either in person or via its website..

NoveList is a librarian-curated database of pleasure reading available through many public libraries.  Readers and librarians can search by titles, authors, or series to find a brief description, appeal factors (character-driven, engaging, suspenseful, warm, gritty, fast-paced, leisurely, etc.), and reviews from Library Journal, Booklist, Publishers Weekly, and Kirkus as well as “read-alikes.”

Stacy Lynn, who publishes the Gothic Romance Reviews blog, has begun the daunting task of providing a play-by-play summary (with screenshot photos) of the original Dark Shadows television series (from the first episode to the last). Unfortunately, this effort and her blog posts were interrupted by her relocation last spring. She hopes to resume blog posting this fall.

Inspired by the exotic tales of The Arabian Nights, 1001 Dark Nights offers a collection of novellas that are sexy and romantic. Some are paranormal, some are contemporary, but every one is compelling and page-turning. Written by New York Times and USA Today bestselling authors. Designed to expose readers to new authors, many of the novellas are standalone spin-offs from the authors' book series.
