I had a nice summer, went to Italy, Austria and Germany. Visited some nice cities and did some nice hikes. Would it not be great if you could work from those locations?

Working from anywhere is getting more and more common. The most important reason is that people are done commuting for several hours every day. Another important reason is that it is getting harder and harder to find the right team members at your location, therefore, you need to look for people in different locations.

You implemented Scrum successful.

Excel Scrum Checklist

Henrik Kniberg created a Scrum Checklist a few years ago, The Scrum checklist is a simple tool to help you get started with Scrum, or assess your current implementation of Scrum. Note that these aren’t rules. They are guidelines. If you are doing Scrum it might be interesting to have the team go through this list at a retrospective. As a discussion tool, not an evaluation tool!

I did a project a while ago, where I needed to create a report about their Scrum implementation. For discussion, not for evaluation. I created a Scrum Checklist in Excel based on the list of Henrik Kniberg and added a few checks regarding distributed Scrum.

Gratis Kennissessies Experience Design

In een aantal kennissessie zullen een aantal belangrijke aspecten van software development worden behandeld binnen een agile context.

De opzet is kleinschalig zodat er voldoende ruimte voor discussie en interactie is.

De volgende sessie gaat over DevOps. Het introduceren van DevOps in een software ontwikkel organisatie kan een grote uitdaging zijn. Het is meer dan het introduceren van scrum alleen.

Bij het introduceren van scrum verslikken bedrijven zich vaak door zich volledig te richten op het proces en de bijbehorende handelingen. Maar dat betekent niet dat je ineens Agile bent.

In essentie gebruik je de input uit Scrum, de transparantie en gaat daar naar handelen. Alhoewel dit abstract klinkt, raakt het de volgende gebieden: Proces & Cultuur, Architectuur en Infrastructuur.

Tijdens deze sessie kijken we naar ervaringen met het implementeren van DevOps en praktische voorbeelden van implementaties bij bedrijven in Telecom, Finance en Retail.
