SEPTEMBER'S LIBRARY EVENTS

THURS. SEPT. 8: THE CCC BOYS OF COLORADO

Michigan-based author/singer/songwriter Bill Jamerson presents a fun, nostalgic look at the 1930’s Federal Works Program that gave employment to 3.5 million men. Among the CCC's accomplishments: construction on Rocky Mountain National Park, the Colorado National Monument, Mesa Verde National Park, Red Rocks Park and Amphitheatre.

THURS. SEPT. 29: SAILING AROUND THE WORLD WITH TIM & TANYA WILHELM

Longtime on-and-off again Montezuma County resident Tim Wilhelm spent five years circumnavigating the globe in a 32-foot sailboat. On Sept. 29 Wilhelm will share photos, stories and video from his adventures on the high seas.

AFTER-SCHOOL PROGRAMS START 9/6!

Youth Services Coordinator Shaine Gans has developed all new fall after-school programs for various age groups, with programs beginning the week of Sept. 6.

REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED, so please download a sign-up form below and return it the library before your student's first session.

Program for fourth & fifth grade students to explore nature, discover the world of science, be inspired, get creative & tinker with building and technology.

EXPLORERS MASH-UP: begins for 6th, 7th & 8th graders Thursday Sept. 8, 3:45 - 4:45 p.m.
This program is for 6th, 7th, & 8th grade students to explore nature, discover the world of science, get creative with arts & drama, and tinker with technology.
