How to Be More Engaged at Work

Friday, September 16, 10:00 - 11:00 AM

There is a difference in being motivated and being engaged in the workplace. Sure, you may be motivated to come to work each day for the paycheck, but are you truly engaged in what you are doing? Stars tend to be internally motivated to begin with, but put that motivation together with truly being engaged in what you do and you have the formula for capturing the most “prizes” the organization has to offer. Register here.

Apple Picking with RITYP

Saturday, September 24, 12:00 PM, The Apple Farm in Victor

Join a group of RIT Young Professionals at the apple orchard at noon for a free wagon ride into the orchards to pick apples. (Bring your own bags to waive the bag fee, or use the orchard's bags for $0.25 each.) After picking apples, we can stop by the bakery to shop and enjoy cider and donuts. All friends, children and significant others are welcome to join! Email Jane McGowan to RSVP.

Living with Change

Friday, September 30, 10:00 - 11:00 AM

Whether going back to school or changing careers, starting a family or retiring, change brings both opportunities and turmoil. In today’s fast-paced world, change has become a constant. Even when we are able to see the advantages of change, it can be hard to say goodbye to what’s changing. This workshop will provide you techniques to effectively deal with change. Register here.
