Last weekend we celebrated the canonization of Mother Teresa.  We are blessed to have such an amazing example of how to live a life of charity and honor God.  Her words and actions should be an inspiration to us all.  Please share with your child some of the wonderful, selfless acts Mother Teresa performed on a daily basis.  Make a plan with them to do kind things for others.  It will make the day better for themselves and for the recipient of their kind gesture.

Each family that signs up to work a shift after Mass will receive an Out of Uniform pass!  Also, any tickets sold during this time will count toward your family goal of $100!

Students from Preschool through 8th grade gathered with JPII staff and a few family and friends after Mass for the annual Balloon Launch on Friday.  The rain subsided just in time for the colorful display of balloons to be released.  Each balloon was tied with a note saying, "You are a masterpiece of God, created with precision, for a specific purpose."  On the other side, the note asks that whomever finds the balloon to contact the school, letting us know where it was found.  Last year, one of our balloons was found near the St. Louis airport!  This year, the balloons were heading northeast.  How far do you think they'll get?
