THIMA eNEWS

Inside This Issue:

President’s Message

I can’t believe it’s already September! We are only six months away from our annual meeting in Knoxville, TN, March 8-10, 2017. Be sure to mark your calendars and plan on attending. We have a wonderful program in store to help us all look to and prepare for the future of HIM.

Join in on the fun and submit a “Member Spotlight” video for our THIMA Facebook page. All you have to do is use your phone to record a video of yourself or another THIMA member answering the following questions: (1) What is your name and what do you do? (2) Why do you enjoy your local HIM association (3) What do you enjoy about the HIM profession? Next, text the video to Seth Johnson at (423)741-8299

On behalf of the board, I would like to say thank you to everyone who took the time to read HIM Reimagined and provided comments regarding the white paper. The THIMA Board has developed, shared, and submitted comments on the drafted whitepaper and will provide an update once we receive a response from the national level.

I hope everyone had a WONDERFUL Labor Day weekend and enjoyed time with loved ones.
