PROJECT #6261 MONTRÉAL PROJECT
Kimura Byol

During the Studio XX artist residency (August 25th to October 9th), kimura byol-nathalie lemoine will make a non-linear narrative and interactive film (Korsakow). 

With this residency at Studio XX, she will explore the possibilities of non-linear narrative and interactive film with the software Korsakow as a playful and participative web-documentary.

La Table is a sound intervention ­occupation that seeks to revisit and transform our reading and our experience of public squares. How do we inhabit the spaces we have in common? How do we build the collective history of our cities? Who decides our street names? What is collective memory?

Patheja is known for her bold and provocative interventions, aiming to challenging the denial and apathy that allows sexual harassment, eve-teasing, and violence toward women to remain normative practices in contemporary societies.
