Neighborhood Service Enhancements
TRRG is monitoring a joint effort among the City's Neighborhood Resources Section, NSN and Wards 3 and 6 to enhance services delivered to neighborhoods and their leaders. This effort is a follow-on to the April 16, 2016 Huddle Meeting hosted by the City of Tucson. On September 9, the planning group will meet to explore with a specialist from Our Family Services the idea of conducting a Conflict Resolution Workshop for neighborhood leaders.
Also, Neighborhood Resources is working with City Information Technology on possible new notification technology, that would allow interested parties to subscribe to automated notifications published by PDSD and other City departments. [Examples: City of New Orleans NoticeMe / City of Naperville, Il - Naper Notify (including community notifications)]
New Resources:
City of New Orleans Neighborhood Participation Plan
