NOTES: FREE to attend. To make this event a success for our students we need all 12th grade Seniors to prepare the following items in a packet for each school they are interested in applying to:
1) Register online at: (
http://www.gotocollegefairs.com/) 2) Have the following documents in hand when they attend the HBCU Fair:
*Copies of their current transcripts *SAT/ACT Scores (If Available)
*Personal Statement *Two letters of recommendation. If students do not have their test scores by the date of the HBCU Fair, they can bring a copy of their ACT/SAT test registration. Students will have an opportunity to speak with Admissions personnel from 40-50 different HBCUs representing hundreds of majors and professional degrees. In addition, all students will be able to receive application fee waivers and “on-the-spot†admissions (w/ required documents) and scholarships.

Featuring our Family Advocacy Summit where you can sign up for childcare, afterschool resources, and Youth Jobs+paid internships. Parent and teen workshops for all ages. *Limited FREE shuttle bus at 8:30am provided from Carver, Bret Harte Elem., Sunnydale Wellness Center, and the African American Art & Culture Complex!
