Hi <<First Name>>

So Spring has sprung and the temperature drops!  It seems to highlight that life is all about contradictions and uncertainties. Pretty similar to those playing out in the construction and electrical industries in New Zealand at the moment. The good and the bad seem to run together!

This month we bring you a selection of the good, the bad, and the downright bizarre!

In this issue:
  • Wearable Computing - 'tattoos' that can communicate with your online devices;
  • Monitoring technology for your pets;
  • The cost of lighting a landmark;
  • Download your free invitation to Facilities Integrate in November;
  • Intelligent . . . or just incredible . . . view and decide;
  • Feature product: Transform your backyard with a TV Shield protective enclosure!
  • Our featured project is the upgrade of an existing eBos home automation system in a beautiful rural residence near Havelock North.
You think you're having a bad day? See our 'final funny' and share a chuckle at how other's react to workplace stress.

Kind regards

The Secret Life of Pets

Did you watch "The Secret Life of Pets?"
Apparently this series and programmes like it have created interest in how we can use monitoring technology to keep an eye on, or even entertain our pets while we are away from home.
A smart home for your pets!!!
See the links below for some intelligent pet technology:
Kyon - pet collar that communicates
Cleverpet - prevents boredom (and mischief)
Petcube - watch your pet at home, speak to them, and drive your furry friend crazy chasing a laser beam!!!
Facilities Integrate Auckland
You are invited!
As mentioned last month, we will have a stand at Facilities Integrate on 3rd & 4th of November at ASB Showgrounds in Auckland.
Download your invitation and follow the directions to register for free (cost is normally $25).
We have lots of exciting things to share around monitored emergency lighting, and smart new products to show you.
We look forward to seeing you at stand A13.

Featured Project

Emergency Lighting System - Prison

When it came to a decision on which stand alone emergency lighting system should be installed for a project at this maximum security prison, the high level security of the Rapix emergency system was a major factor.
The system will allow automated testing and reporting of all emergency fittings for ease of maintenance and compliance with required standards.
