It's been a great summer at the Petting Farm! We've enjoyed playing with the animals, hayrides, pony rides and visits from our guests. Several new animals joined the Petting Farm family this summer and have welcomed by our guests and staff.
The Petting Farm is now offering fun and educational presentation for all our guests. Presentations are included with the cost go admission and will be held in the Pole Barn. For the month of September, presentations will be on Wednesdays at 1:30 pm.

Please join us in welcoming Annabelle and Ollie to the Petting Farm family. Annabelle and Ollie are four-month old Holstein calves. Holstein cattle can be easily recognized by their distinct markings. When they are fully grown they will way approximately 1,500 lbs. Holstein cows are most known for their milk production. The average Holstein cow produces 23,000 pounds, or 2,674 gallons of milk per year. The world record for milk production is 72,170 pounds and was set in 2010 by a Holstein cow in Wisconsin.

We are excited to announce our redesigned membership. The new Family Membership is only $75.00 and is available for purchase at the Petting Farm. Membership includes admission for one family (children, parents, grandparents and one named caregiver) to the Petting Farm for one year and discounts on animal feed, hayrides, purchases in our gift store and birthday parties. In addition, members are invited to our annual Easter Egg Hunt.

We are very excited to participating in the Ann Arbor Hands-On Museums annual Creature Feature event. The Creature Feature will be Sunday, October 9th from 6:00 pm to 8:30 pm at the Ann Arbor Hands-On Museum. Tickets are available starting September 12th.

The Petting Farm's annual Fall Festival will be Saturday October 29th from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. Specific details for the activities at the Fall Festival will be available soon.
