Kom til åbning på projektet HALMTORVET V - en kombineret pop-up udstilling i Absalonsgade og et midlertidigt byrum på Halmtorvet. Vi byder på en lille forfriskning, sunde snacks og en mulighed for at diskutere og præge byens udvikling.
Nye Fællesskaber i det offentlige rum
HALMTORVET V er et lokalt beboerdrevet projekt på Vesterbro faciliteret af LETH & GORI. Projektet søger at udvikle nye fællesskaber i det offentlige rum på Halmtorvet, Vesterbro.
Projektet omfatter en række midlertidige arkitektonisk nedslag, der samles i et integreret byrumsmøbel, som for en begrænset periode forvandler byrummet på Halmtorvet og danner ramme om en række nye aktiviteter og mødesteder. Møblet omfatter en gadefodboldbane, en økologisk byhave, et langbord, samt langbænke, opholdssteder og mikropladser.
Det er projektets intention, at møblet for en periode ’smelter’ sammen med byen og fremkalder nye steder for spontane møder og selvorganiserede aktiviteter. Det kunne f.eks. fællesspisningsarrangementer, gadekøkken og høstfester, gadefodboldturnering, eller ’back-up skolegård’ og ’open-air auditorium’ for Gasværksvejens Skole osv.
Byrummet vil desuden fungere som baggrund for øvrige byrumsarrangementer i projektperioden der strækker sig til start oktober.

Join us for the opening of the project HALMTORVET V - a combined pop-up exhibition in Absalonsgade and a temporary urban space on Halmtorvet. Enjoy a drink, healthy snacks and the opportunity to discuss and influence the development of Copenhagen.
New communities in the city
HALMTORVET V is a locally initiated project in Vesterbro facilitated by LETH & GORI . The project seeks to develop dialogue and communities in the public realm.
The project consists of a series of temporary architectural objects that are integrated into one large piece of urban furniture, which for a short period will transform the urban space and function as the framework for a series of new activities and meeting places in Halmtorvet. The project includes a street football field, an organic urban garden, a long table, places to rest and small plazas.
The intention of the project is that the architectural object for a short time melts into the city creating a new interface for interaction and self-organised activities. For example communal meals, street kitchen, parties, street football tournaments or an extra space for the local schoolchildren to play or study etc.
The urban space will also work as a backdrop for other urban events in the project period, which lasts until the beginning of October.
