We've had a rest and now we're busy collating feedback, photos, film & reviews...
eFestivals loved The Green Gathering!
"A breadth of ideas and viewpoints come together in a kaleidoscope of thought and action ... a very natural coming together of much of the best of festival culture ... This festival of ideas let me partake in a world of new possibilities, with the organising principle just be good to each other and the earth; so yeah, it was very good to go Green."

We've had fantastic feedback from festival-goers old and young, both veterans and new faces. Most people think it was even better than last year - no mean feat! We know there's always the odd hiccup and we aim to make the Gathering better every year, so help us out - fill in this SURVEY and tell us what you loved, hated (most people say "going home!") and what you'd like to see in 2017.

VENUE ROUND UP
The Speakers' Forum in its new location at the entrance to the Campaigns Field worked really well, as did the new Raconteurs' Delight Stage with its spoken word artists and steampunk-themed Temperance & Cocktail Bar by night, performance-based workshops by day.
Sound quality on the Soundscape, Floating Lotus and Triban Stages was fantastic.
We had more solar power and LED lighting than ever before thanks to Magic Lantern, Coltek, REsource Living, Green Dragon, LEDfantastic, Zia and others, plus more acoustic music and open mic spaces.
The 99% Bar rocked this year, with its own dingly dell opening onto magnificent views and Illoomiloonies circus antics.
The Crafts, Permaculture, Campaigns, Healing, Kids, Earth Energies and Hill Village areas were bursting with practical and fun activities & talks.
Solar Vinyl Lounge, Parachute Club, Co-ops Camp, the Faerie Glade and community campfires provided unexpected entertainment just when you thought you'd seen it all!
It's so difficult to pick a favourite band from this year's Green Gathering - fab acts were to be found all over site - we're sure Here & Now's Friday evening gig made quite a few GG stalwarts' weekend, while 3 Daft Monkeys were on fire as a closing act Sunday night, newcomers Dohnut wowed the crowd and John Fairhurst's genius was mesmerising.
Do the SURVEY to tell us about your fave band, speaker, poet, workshop, venue, area and 'random occurrence'!
A huge Thankyou to everyone who co-ordinated, crewed, played, partied and became part of our community over a magical August weekend; sorry we haven't managed to mention every stunning contribution in this newsletter.
It's worth a peek at our facebook community page to check out more photos and news.
We'll be updating our website over the next few weeks and there's already a buzz about our GG 2017 facebook event. You can follow us on twitter, too. Keep spreading the word...
See you at GG 2017!
