THE WERKS GROUP NEWS
Werkshop30 set to open this month!
Our Newest building, Werkshop30 is due to open this October 2016. We are extremely excited about this building based at 30 Grand Parade in Brighton and are delighted to finally be able to announce this news. After months of redecorating, rewiring and improving the overall building, just a few of the changes can be seen in the above images. This building features several different sized offices from 2 person spaces up to 10 person spaces. Be sure to get in touch for more information on the available spaces or to arrange a viewing.
Our very own Dennis, a member of our Front of House Team at The Werks and Pier Werks will be taking part in Welcome to my Nightmare. This pre Halloween show is on Friday 28th October at 7.30pm in the Latest Music Bar, Manchester Street, Brighton, BN2 1TF. Tickets are £20/£18 concessions. All funds raised are for the anti bullying charity Inclusion for All and The Rainbow Fund. Earlier on Saturday 8th October, the Chorus will be performing as part of ‘The Festival of Music’ in the beautiful setting of St Nicholas Church, Church Street. Their show ‘An Evening of Music and Canapes’ begins at 7.30pm and tickets are £12.
Coffee morning - Huge thanks!
Massive thanks to everyone who attended our Macmillan's coffee morning on Friday 30th September. It was great to see so many clients and help towards a fabulous cause. Special thanks to any of our clients who baked a cake for the occasion. All together, we raised £158.65 for Macmillan.
Get behind our IT techie, Kev!
Our IT techie, Kev, is running 5 half marathons in October. Not only will he be running, but juggling at the same time! 8 years ago, Kev had a horrific accident, suffering a traumatic head injury which kept him in an induced coma for weeks to help his brain reduce the swelling. Luckily, Kev survived and with the help of family, friends and Headway, a charity devoted to those who have suffered brain trauma, Kev is able to live a normal life. Kev has always juggled and since his accident, has taken up jogging too, so he thought to combine the two!!  In 2014, he ran the Brighton Marathon and has since completed many more full and half marathons, all to help raise awareness and money for Headway. Please sponsor Kev here and keep a track of his tremendous efforts on his Twitter and Facebook pages.
