Absentee Notes
The PA Department of Education requires that a parent or guardian send a written note to school immediately following a student's absence.

Our handbook states:
"To report a child late or absent, parents are to call the absentee line (215-885-1637) before 8:00 a.m. and indicate the reason in the case of an absence. Upon returning to school from an absence, the student is to present the school's absentee note signed by a parent or guardian to the homeroom teacher. Extended Day has moved!

Our graders will use the Fiat library and our Montessori Unit children will utilize the Stepping Stones into Montessori (SSM) space.

To pick up your child at the end of the day, turn into the Child Safe Zone (CSZ) at the second left as you enter the property. As you pass the SSM lobby, there will be several parking spaces reserved with cones for Extended Day.

To pick up a child from the Montessori unit, please go to the SSM lobby double doors and ring the doorbell located on the right.

To pick up a child in the grades 1-8, please ring the doorbell at the blue door located to the left of the letters that say 'Fiat Center' across the drive from SSM. This entrance will lead you directly to the library. A staff member will open the doors at each location.

Children will continue to use the Lau Playground for outdoor activities, weather permitting. A sign will be posted at the doors of each level to indicate if children have headed to the playground for pick up. Children will bring their bags with them to the playground. Please park your car by the main entrance of the McCoy Center and follow the path that runs along the left side of the building to the playground.

Please go to the Volunteer Page on our website, read through the list of opportunities, and check off any of the areas you may be interested in volunteering for the upcoming school year. The coordinator of the event or service will contact you to confirm your interest as the opportunity approaches.

The volunteer documents listed below need to be submitted to Ancillae before the start of school. Without these submitted documents, the Academy cannot authorize a parent to assist with any school-related activity in the 2016-2017 school year. More information is available on our website under AAA Life / Programs.
