Hi there does it feel like Spring where you are? We're getting blue skies interspersed with ridiculously heavy rain, so yes, that's Spring in Auckland... my children have been enjoying quieter Saturdays now that their winter sports have finished. Hope all is ticking along well at your place.

New Toddler Talk Parenting Series

Laura Morley is running a toddler parenting series at The Parenting Centre in Auckland - 4 sessions covering most aspects of toddler needs (nutrition, sleep, toilet learning, tantrums, language). I am going to be at next Wednesday's Language Development session with the fantastic Wendy Perera, talking about the craft of Listening and also touching on the hot topic of toddlers + iPads. Come along! This is a friendly space to gain knowledge, ask questions and discover new parenting techniques to use every day with your child.

Dr Julie Bhosale is running the seminar on nutrition on Wednesday 28th September and she has offered me one of her fantastic cookbooks to give away to The Eardrops Community. High five! See here for details.
