ACC Issues Policy Statement on IHE

The statement points out that, "IHE is in a unique position to formalize the use of existing standards to support clinically relevant workflows and improve efficiency." IHE Webinars: Gearing Up for Connectathon Testing

Each year, clinical and technical experts in each IHE domain develop new profiles and refine existing ones. Each IHE profile uses established standards to define the actors, transactions and information content required to address a specific clinical, research or operational use case. To present their work to the broader health IT community, IHE holds an annual series of webinars. The free webinars present what's new in each domain and offer guidance to implementers, including those preparing for testing at IHE Connectathons. The webinars are available for viewing online and registration is open for upcoming events. Go to webinars.
