There have been a number of additions and changes to the drug tariff in September. Find out more in our latest news story.

Pharmacy Customer Survey

This year Practitioner and Counter Fraud Services are carrying out the Pharmacy Service Survey electronically, so we are posting this on behalf of them to make it available to you.  The survey will only take 10 minutes and will help let Practitioner Services know how well they are providing their service to you. The deadline for submitting is 30th September 2016 (extended to 28th October 2016).

If you have any issues please contact Liz Howie, Quality Assurance Manager, Pharmacy on 01224 358 324 or by email at elizabethj.howie@nhs.net.

New Blog Post: What's new in PCR Version 11?

Our Pharmacy Services Supervisor Emma has written a blog post about the new version of the PCR.

It's a useful recap to let you know what has been added.

Welcome to Adam Osprey!

We are delighted to welcome Adam to the CPS Team as Policy Development Pharmacist.

Adam graduated from Strathclyde University in 2009, then going on to work with LloydsPharmacy as a Relief Manager and then more recently as a Pharmacy Manager in various branches. Adam has also served as a community pharmacy champion in Lanarkshire for the last three years until joining us in August.

We've been keeping him busy throughout his first couple of weeks. Find out what he's been up to in his Blog Post: My first week at CPS.

Would you like to take part in one of our User Groups?

We are looking for more volunteers for a couple of User Groups that we plan to launch later in the year, on issues including Shortages, IT, Pharmacy System Upgrades and Social Media. The User Group will share their expertise and feedback with us. It won't take up a lot of your time - about 15 mins a month by email or phone. Would you like to join one of the groups? Please contact Amanda Rae for more information.

New Members Section: Update your membership details online

Earlier this week, Kirsten took the time to share an update in our blog about our new and improved Members section. We're just over a week away from launch day (we can't quite believe it!) so to make sure you're registered in time for launch day, it would be great if you could please make sure that you have updated your details using our online form

An update from our office

The countdown is on until we launch our new Members Section in 11 days time! If you haven't already updated your membership information we'd be grateful if you could please take a couple of minutes to submit your information using our online form.

We also had a very exciting day on the 6th September as we held a conference in partnership with The Scotsman Conferences. If you weren't there on the day why not check out our news article which contains a link to the full supplement? It's definitely worth a read!

As always if you have any comments or suggestions for our eNewsletter we'd love to hear from you.

Best wishes
Amanda, Michael & Kirsten
