NECHA Board Needs YOU!
The time is NOW to run for a position on the NECHA Board. The deadline has been extended for one more week,  Friday, September 30, to join the great team of NECHA Board Members! Seven positions are open for the 2016-17 NECHA Board of Directors, including: President-Elect, Secretary, Treasurer, and four 2-year Members at Large. We’re looking for people who are willing to share their expertise, expand their involvement in college health, and develop professional relationships beyond their campus. Please note, you need to be an active ACHA member to join. To indicate your interest in joining the board, please complete the online Statement of Interest Form. The deadline is next FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 30. Enter today or pass along to a colleague!

And the Awards Go To...
Nominations for the 2016 President’s and Louise Gazzara Awards are now closed. NECHA’s highest honor, the President’s Award is given to an individual who has made significant contributions to the students they serve as well as their institution, community, and the field of college health. Peers recognize them as creative, innovative, dedicated leaders and mentors known for their sharing and caring. The Louise Gazzara Award honors a college health nurse who has made outstanding contributions to NECHA, her/his college or university, and the profession.
The Award Committees is currently reviewing the nominations to make their selections. Recipients will be announced in the NECHA Happenings in October and will be recognized at the NECHA 2016 in Newport, Rhode Island. STAY TUNED!
