This summer was an incredibly busy one but things are slowing down compared to the crazy pace of summer. As we plugged away at ministry, not always feeling like things were going as we would have hoped, God used a very special couple to encourage us through their generous gift to Abundant Life Church. God knows our needs and His timing is impeccable! We want to thank everyone who supports us financially, prayerfully or through service. We cannot minister without your support. We thank God for each of you!
We are looking forward to the fall kickoff of small groups at Lakota Pointe and Meadow Ridge Apartments. We are going to try something different this time. In the past we used door hangers on the apartment doors inviting residents to small group and we have not necessarily had great success using that method. This time we are sending letters to every person we have contact information for, inviting them to join us for the small group community gathering. We will be providing pizza for the first gathering at each location in hopes to draw more residents. We covet your prayers as we hope to build deeper relationships and see people come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ!

Heritagespring of West Chester
We are happy to say that Dot will be playing the piano at each of our chapel services. We want to thank Joy, Dorcas and Angie for their help in the past and for their willingness to help when Dot is unable to be there. Music is a vital part of any worship service but especially so for these dear older residents. We have said it before but it's amazing to watch how music effects these precious senior adults.
We will now also be responsible for the chapel services for the fifth Sunday when there are five Sundays in a month. We look forward to having another day to share with the residents at Heritagespring!

Meadow Ridge and North Pointe
This past month one of our young residents who helps us a lot with Abundant Life events lost her father. Destiny is always eager to help with anything we have planned at Meadow Ridge, North Pointe or Lakota Pointe. Please be in prayer for her and her family as she continues to grieve her daddy's passing. We had the privilege of ministering to her in this time of need.
We also were able to encourage the manager at Meadow Ridge when we took her flowers after her knee surgery. We are praying for a quick recovery for Susan.
We we are excited to see how things go with the small group fall kick off. We made quite a few contacts over the summer and hopefully several residents will begin attending. Meadow Ridge residents seem to be pretty much to themselves. One of our goals is to help build a sense of community. Please pray that God would help them to see the benefits they will receive by joining us!

Support our Ministry
We appreciate ALL support for the ministry, we can't do it without the help of others. If you are able to financially support us we would be eternally grateful!!
You can support our ministry in three different ways:
PRAYING
A praying partner commits to praying specifically for my wife and I, our ministry, and our multi-housing residents. Prayer support is vital for us as we serve on the field!
PARTICIPATING
A participating partner commits to becoming involved personally in our ministry. For example, your church may want to send mission teams to assist us or seek to mobilize individuals within your church to be sent as short or long term missionaries as part of our planting team.
PROVIDING
A providing partner commits to supporting our ministry financially. All funds will be handled and deposited by our NAMB strategic partner, Lakota Hills Baptist Church in West Chester, Ohio. All donations are tax deductible. Please make checks payable to Lakota Hills Baptist Church. Be sure to include "Allen Lawless" on the memo line.
