POSITANO LÉONIDE MASSINE AWARDS

On Saturday 10 September, our dancers Antonio de Rosa and Mattia Russo received the award 'Danzatori dell'anno sulla scena internazionale' (Dancer of the year on the international scene) at the 44th edition of Positano Léonide Massine Awards. These prestigious awards were born in 1969 and ten years later the name Léonide Massine was included in order to honor the memory of this dancer and choreographer. Since then, several leading figures have been awarded this prize. A cast where our dancers now belong to. CONGRATULATIONS!

MASTERCLASSES IN THE UNIVERSITY MENÉNDEZ PELAYO

José Carlos Martínez, artistic director of the CND, directed and conducted a full program of masterclasses and choreographic workshops from 5 to 9 September in the Auditorium Las Llamas of the Internacional University Menéndez Pelayo (UIMP) in Santander. The course was aimed at dancers (performers, choreographers and teachers) as well as advanced dance students. Certainly a great opportunity to work on the classical ballet technique and also to approach the world of improvisation and choreographic creation. All this from the hand of an excellent professional, José Carlos Martínez, who was able to transmit their knowledge and passion for dance to the course students and the participants of the open masterclass held on Thursday, September 8.
